If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services. These terms are effective as of January 1, 2024.
2. Terms of Service
Director's Cut Academy provides filmmaking education services, including but not limited to courses, workshops, seminars, and related resources. Our services are intended for individuals who aspire to develop their filmmaking skills. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice. We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information; however, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on our website or in our course materials. Enrolment in our courses is subject to availability and payment of applicable fees.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
Your use of our services must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. You agree not to:

5. Payment and Refund Policy
Course fees are due and payable in accordance with our payment schedule. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Full refunds are available if you cancel your enrollment within 14 days of the course start date.
- Partial refunds may be available for cancellations made after 14 days, subject to a cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be issued once the course has commenced, except in cases of documented medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the admissions office at [email protected].
6. Liability Disclaimer
Director's Cut Academy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property while attending our courses. We recommend that you obtain appropriate insurance coverage to protect yourself against such risks. While we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment, students are responsible for their own well-being and should exercise caution when using equipment and participating in on-set activities. Director's Cut Academy is not responsible for career outcomes or employment opportunities following course completion. The film industry is competitive, and success depends on a variety of factors beyond the skills and knowledge gained at our academy.

11. Termination
Director's Cut Academy reserves the right to terminate your access to our services for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of our services and destroy any copies of our content in your possession. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations to pay outstanding fees. Students expelled for violations of the academy's code of conduct or these terms are not eligible for refunds.
